Talib Kweli Greene, connu simplement sous le nom de Talib Kweli, est un rappeur et producteur de disques américain né à Brooklyn, New York, en 1976. Considéré comme l'un des artistes les plus influents de la scène hip-hop underground, Kweli se distingue par ses rimes complexes, son flow précis et son attention profonde aux problèmes sociaux. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les années 1990 en collaborant avec plusieurs artistes du mouvement conscious rap, notamment Mos Def, formant le duo Black Star. En 1998, ils ont sorti leur album d' estreia éponyme, considéré comme un classique du genre. Après la dissolution du duo, Kweli a poursuivi sa carrière solo, publiant de nombreux albums à succès tels que *Quality* (2000), *The Beautiful Struggle* (2004) et *Eardrum* (2009). Ses chansons abordent souvent des thèmes comme le racisme, les inégalités sociales, la politique et la spiritualité. Parmi ses titres les plus connus figurent "Get By", "Never Been in Love" et "The Proud Ones". Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
