Juelz Santana, de son vrai nom LaRon Louis James, est un rappeur américain né à Harlem, New York, en 1982. Connu également sous le nom de 'Human Crack in the Flesh', il a gagné en popularité dans les années 2000 grâce à son style de rap agressif et ses rimes complexes. Il est membre du groupe de hip-hop Diplomats, fondé par Cam'ron. Santana a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes renommés, notamment The LOX, Lil Wayne et Jim Jones. Parmi ses chansons les plus célèbres figurent 'Oh My God', 'Time to Get Paid' et 'Back to the Streets'. En 2003, il a sorti son premier album, 'From Me to You', qui s'est classé numéro 14 du Billboard 200. Tout au long de sa carrière, Santana a été impliqué dans plusieurs scandales et controverses, mais reste une figure influente dans la scène hip-hop.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
