Linkin Park est un groupe de rock alternatif américain formé à Los Angeles en 1996. Composé de Chester Bennington (chant), Mike Shinoda (rap, guitare, clavier), Brad Delson (guitare), Dave Farrell (basse) et Rob Bourdon (batterie), le groupe a atteint la renommée internationale avec son album de début *Hybrid Theory* (2000). Leur son, caractérisé par un mélange de nu metal, rap rock et éléments électroniques, a profondément influencé la musique des années 2000. Parmi les chansons les plus célèbres de Linkin Park figurent «In the End», «Crawling», «Numb» et «Faint». Tout au long de leur carrière, le groupe a vendu plus de 100 millions d'albums dans le monde entier, remportant de nombreux prix, dont un Grammy Award. En 2017, la mort de Chester Bennington a marqué la fin du groupe.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
