Le Wu-Tang Clan est un groupe de hip hop de New York composé de neuf MC, connu pour son style musical innovant et influent dans les années 1990. Le nom du groupe vient d'un film d'arts martiaux. Leur album de début, *Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)* (1993), est considéré comme l'un des plus importants de l'histoire du hip hop pour son impact culturel et musical. L'album a lancé les carrières solo de chaque membre du groupe, qui ont ensuite publié de nombreux albums acclamés. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
