Talib Kweli Greene, connu simplement sous le nom de Talib Kweli, est un rappeur et producteur de disques américain né à Brooklyn, New York, en 1976. Considéré comme l'un des artistes les plus influents de la scène hip-hop underground, Kweli se distingue par ses rimes complexes, son flow précis et son attention profonde aux problèmes sociaux. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les années 1990 en collaborant avec plusieurs artistes du mouvement conscious rap, notamment Mos Def, formant le duo Black Star. En 1998, ils ont sorti leur album d' estreia éponyme, considéré comme un classique du genre.
