Mystikal, de son vrai nom Michael L. Tyler, est un rappeur américain né à New Orleans, Louisiane, en 1975. Actif depuis 1996, il a atteint la renommée dans les années 2000 avec son style unique qui fusionne le hip hop, le funk et le R and B. Parmi ses morceaux les plus connus figurent "Shake It Fast", "Danger" et "The Way You Love Me". Au cours de sa carrière, il a collaboré avec des artistes comme Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne et Busta Rhymes. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
