Mobb Deep è stato un duo hip hop statunitense formato dai rapper Havoc (Jason Irvine) e Prodigy (Albert Johnson). Attivi dal 1990 fino alla morte di Prodigy nel 2017, sono considerati pilastri della Golden Era dell'East Coast hip hop. Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da testi cuciti con realismo crudo sulla vita nelle strade di Queensbridge, New York, e produzioni dark e atmosferiche. Il loro album di debutto *Juvenile Hell* (1993) ha introdotto il mondo al loro sound distintivo. Tuttavia, è stato il secondo album, *The Infamous* (1995), a consacrarli come icone del genere. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
