Tory Lanez, pseudonimo di Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, è un rapper e cantautore canadese nato a Toronto nel 1992. Lanez ha raggiunto la notorietà negli anni 2010 con il suo stile musicale che fonde hip hop, R and B e trap. Il suo album di debutto, *I Told You*, pubblicato nel 2016, è stato un successo commerciale, raggiungendo la posizione numero 4 della Billboard 200.
