Young Dolph, de son vrai nom Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. (1991-2021), était un rappeur américain originaire de Memphis, Tennessee. Connu pour son style de rap direct et agressif, il a gagné en popularité dans les années 2010 avec des mixtapes comme "King of Memphis" et "High Class Street Music". Son succès a continué à grandir avec son album de début "Dolph Only", suivi par d'autres projets comme "Bulletproof" et "Thinking Out Loud". Young Dolph a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Gucci Mane, Megan Thee Stallion et Key Glock. Sa musique reflétait la réalité des rues de Memphis, abordant des thèmes comme la violence, le succès et la lutte pour la survie. Malheureusement, il a été assassiné à Memphis en 2021, laissant un vide important dans la scène rap américaine. Parmi ses morceaux les plus représentatifs, on peut citer "Major", "Preach" et "RNB".
