Public Enemy est un groupe de hip-hop américain formé en 1982 à Long Island, New York. Considéré comme l'un des groupes les plus influents de l'histoire du genre, il est connu pour son approche politique et sociale du rap, avec des paroles qui dénoncent le racisme systémique et les injustices sociales. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
