Skee-Lo, dont le vrai nom est Antoine Roundtree, est un rappeur américain né à Los Angeles, Californie. Actif de 1995 à 2000, il a atteint la renommée internationale avec son single "I Wish", une chanson qui a dominé les classements mondiaux en 1995. Le morceau, caractérisé par son rythme accrocheur et ses paroles ironiques, est devenu un classique du hip-hop et continue d'être apprécié aujourd'hui. Outre "I Wish", Skee-Lo a sorti d'autres succès comme "24/7" et "The Way I Feel". Sa musique se caractérise par un son amusant et léger, avec des influences funk et pop. Après sa période de plus grand succès, Skee-Lo s'est consacré à des projets musicaux moins publics.
La chanteuse de renom Rihanna et le rappeur A$AP Rocky ont récemment fait la une des journaux du monde entier en dévoilant le nom de leur deuxième enfant.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
