Lloyd Banks, de son vrai nom Christopher Lloyd, est un rappeur américain né à South Jamaica, Queens, New York, en 1982. Considéré comme l'un des membres les plus importants du collectif G-Unit, fondé par 50 Cent, Banks a atteint la renommée au début des années 2000 avec des albums comme "The Hunger for More" (2004) et "Rotten Apple" (2006). Son style de rap se caractérise par des rimes complexes, des flux rapides et des paroles souvent tissées autour de thèmes de vie de rue, de violence et de succès. Parmi ses morceaux les plus connus figurent "Beamer, Benz or Bentley", "Warrior Part 2" et "On Fire". Banks a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes du paysage hip-hop, notamment Eminem, Tony Yayo et Young Buck.
La chanteuse de renom Rihanna et le rappeur A$AP Rocky ont récemment fait la une des journaux du monde entier en dévoilant le nom de leur deuxième enfant.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
