Mekong Delta è un gruppo musicale tedesco di genere progressive thrash metal, attivo dal 1985. Considerati uno dei pionieri del thrash metal progressivo in Germania, hanno influenzato numerose band successive con la loro musica complessa e sperimentale. Il sound Mekong Delta si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di riff veloci e aggressivi tipici del thrash metal, combinati a strutture musicali complesse e melodie progressive. Le loro canzoni spesso trattano temi sociali e politici, con testi in inglese che riflettono un'attitudine critica verso la società contemporanea. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Last Stand", "Beyond the Veil" e "The Serpent's Tongue". L'album di debutto "Mekong Delta" (1987) è considerato un classico del genere, mentre "The Serpent's Tongue" (1990) ha consolidato il loro successo internazionale. Il gruppo si è sciolto nel 1993 per poi riunirsi nel 2005 con una formazione rinnovata. Mekong Delta continua ad essere attivo oggi, pubblicando nuovi album e suonando concerti in tutto il mondo.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
