Pete Seeger (1919-2014) è stato un cantautore, musicista e attivista americano di fama mondiale. Nato a New York da una famiglia di artisti, Seeger si distinse per la sua voce potente e il suo impegno sociale. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '30 con gruppi folk come The Almanac Singers, promuovendo temi di giustizia sociale e lotta contro le ingiustizie.
