Les Beach Boys sont un groupe musical américain formé en 1961 à Hawthorne, en Californie. Considérés comme l'un des groupes les plus influents de l'histoire de la musique pop, ils ont connu un succès mondial dans les années 1960 avec des chansons comme "Surfin' U.S.A.", "Good Vibrations" et "Wouldn't It Be Nice". Le groupe a été fondé par les frères Brian, Carl et Dennis Wilson, ainsi que Mike Love et Al Jardine. Brian Wilson, considéré comme un génie de la musique pop, a composé la plupart des succès du groupe, caractérisés par des arrangements complexes et des mélodies accrocheuses. Les Beach Boys ont vendu plus de 100 millions d'albums dans le monde entier et ont été intronisés au Temple de la renommée du rock and roll en 1998. Leur style musical, qui mêlait surf rock, pop et doo-wop, a influencé des générations de musiciens.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
