Jimmy Buffett (1946-2023) è stato un cantautore, musicista e scrittore statunitense, noto per il suo stile musicale definito "Parrothead", che fonde elementi di country, folk, rock e calypso. Nato a Pascagoula, Mississippi, Buffett ha trascorso la sua infanzia in diverse località degli Stati Uniti prima di stabilirsi a Key West, Florida, dove ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70. Il suo successo è legato a brani come "Margaritaville", "Come Monday" e "Cheeseburger in Paradise", che hanno reso Buffett un'icona della cultura americana, associata a un'atmosfera rilassata e paradisiaca. Oltre alla musica, Buffett ha scritto diversi libri di narrativa e saggistica, tra cui il best-seller "A Pirate Looks at Forty". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
