Brian Setzer è un musicista statunitense nato a Newark, New Jersey nel 1959. Noto per il suo stile rockabilly e swing, è considerato uno dei pionieri del revival di questi generi negli anni '80 e '90. Iniziò la sua carriera come chitarrista e cantante con i Stray Cats, band fondata nel 1979 che ha riscosso un enorme successo internazionale grazie a brani come "Rock This Town", "Stray Cat Strut" e "(She's) Sexy + 17". Dopo lo scioglimento dei Stray Cats, Setzer ha continuato la sua carriera da solista, pubblicando album di swing e rockabilly che hanno riscosso un grande successo di critica e pubblico. Tra i suoi album più importanti si annoverano "The Brian Setzer Orchestra" (1998) e "Ignition! The Brian Setzer Orchestra" (2006). Setzer è anche un abile musicista jazz, collaborando con artisti come Elvis Costello e Norah Jones.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
