The Antlers sono un gruppo musicale indie rock statunitense formatosi a Brooklyn nel 2006. Il nucleo del gruppo è costituito da Peter Silberman (voce, chitarra), Michael Lerner (chitarra, tastiere) e Darby Cicci (batteria). La loro musica è caratterizzata da atmosfere introspettive, testi poetici e arrangiamenti delicati che mescolano elementi di folk, post-rock e dream pop. Dopo diversi EP indipendenti, hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto "Hospice" nel 2009, un lavoro acclamato dalla critica che ha raggiunto un grande successo di pubblico. L'album racconta una storia d'amore tormentata attraverso la lente della malattia terminale e ha contribuito a consolidare l'immagine del gruppo come uno dei più promettenti dell'indie rock contemporaneo. Nel corso degli anni, The Antlers hanno continuato a pubblicare album apprezzati dalla critica, tra cui "Burst Apart" (2012), "Familiars" (2014) e "Green to Gold" (2017). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
