Big Punisher, pseudonyme de Christopher Lee Rios, était un rappeur américain né à New York City en 1971. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du rap hardcore, il a acquis une renommée internationale dans les années 1990 grâce à son style agressif et ses rimes complexes. Sa voix profonde et son flow unique l'ont fait distinguer comme une figure emblématique de la scène hip-hop. Big Pun était membre du groupe Terror Squad et a collaboré avec des artistes de premier plan tels que Fat Joe, The Notorious B.I.G. et Remy Ma. Son album de début, "Capital Punishment", sorti en 1998, est considéré comme un classique du genre et a atteint la première place du classement Billboard 200. Malheureusement, la carrière de Big Pun a été brutalement interrompue par un infarctus cardiaque en 2000 à l'âge de seulement 28 ans. Parmi ses morceaux les plus célèbres, on peut citer "Still Not a Player", "100%" et "I'm Not a Player".
