Twiztid est un duo de hip hop américain formé en 1997 à Detroit, Michigan. Le groupe est composé de Jamie Madrox (Jamie Spaniolo) et Monoxide (Paul Methfessel). Connus pour leur style musical sombre et horrorcore, Twiztid a publié une vaste discographie d'albums, de mixtapes et de singles, gagnant un public fidèle dans le monde du hip hop underground. Leurs paroles explorent souvent des thèmes comme la mort, l'enfer, les drogues et la violence, présentés avec un humour macabre et une forte composante narrative. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "The Dark Side", "Killin' Time" et "I'm a Monster". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
