The Specials, anche conosciuti come The Special AKA, sono un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Coventry nel 1977. Considerati uno dei massimi esponenti del movimento 2 Tone ska britannico della fine degli anni settanta, insieme a gruppi come Madness, The Selecter e The Beat, hanno saputo coniugare il ritmo energico dello ska con testi politici e sociali che riflettevano le tensioni e le disuguaglianze dell'epoca. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da un mix di ska, rocksteady e punk, ha influenzato generazioni di musicisti e continua ad essere apprezzato per la sua energia contagiosa e il suo messaggio di speranza e cambiamento. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano «Ghost Town», «A Message to You Rudy» e «Too Much Too Young». L'album d'esordio, omonimo, del 1979 è considerato un classico del genere 2 Tone.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
