Handsome Boy Modeling School è un duo hip hop formatosi negli anni '90 dall'incontro tra Dan the Automator e Prince Paul, produttore del gruppo rap De La Soul. Il progetto ha visto la luce con l'album di debutto omonimo nel 1999, caratterizzato da un sound innovativo che fonde elementi di funk, soul, jazz e musica elettronica. Il duo è noto per le sue produzioni intricate e i testi ironici e surreali, spesso incentrati sulla satira della cultura pop e del mondo della moda. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Grey Album", "So Fresh, So Clean" e "I'm a Man". Handsome Boy Modeling School ha pubblicato tre album in totale, lasciando un segno indelebile nella scena hip hop underground.
