Bane è una band hardcore punk formatasi a Worcester, Massachusetts, negli anni '90. Il nucleo originario era composto da Aaron Dalbec (ex Converge) e Damon Bellardo, che iniziarono come progetto parallelo. Dopo un breve periodo con Matt Firestone al microfono, la formazione si stabilizzò con l'ingresso di Aaron Bedard (ex Backbone). Nel 1996 uscì il loro primo EP, seguito da numerosi concerti nel Massachusetts centrale. Il successo locale li portò a registrare l'EP *Free To Think, Free To Be* nel 1997 e l'album *Holding This Moment* nel 1998, che segnò anche il loro primo tour negli Stati Uniti. Bane è nota per la sua musica energica e le tematiche di tolleranza e unità all'interno della scena hardcore.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
