Vince Staples, pseudonimo di Vincent Jamal Staples, è un rapper statunitense nato a Long Beach, California, nel 1993. Attivo dal 2010, Staples ha guadagnato fama per il suo stile rap crudo e realistico, spesso incentrato su temi sociali come la violenza urbana, la povertà e le disuguaglianze razziali. La sua musica è caratterizzata da un flusso di coscienza incisivo e testi poetici che riflettono la sua esperienza di vita nella comunità di Long Beach. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
