My Morning Jacket è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a Louisville, Kentucky, nel 1998. Il nucleo originario era composto da Jim James (voce, chitarra), Tom Blankenship (basso) e Patrick Hallahan (batteria). Nel corso degli anni la formazione si è arricchita con altri musicisti come Carl Broemel (chitarra, mandolino) e Bo Koster (tastiere, percussioni). Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound psichedelico rock che fonde elementi di folk, country e blues. My Morning Jacket ha pubblicato otto album in studio, tra cui "It Still Moves" (2003), "Z", (2005) e "Evil Urges" (2008). I brani più rappresentativi includono "One Big Holiday", "Golden", "Off the Record" e "Mahgeetah".
