W.A.S.P. è una band heavy metal americana formatasi nel 1982 a Los Angeles, California. Considerati pionieri del glam metal e del shock rock, sono noti per le loro performance teatrali provocatorie e il sound aggressivo. Il gruppo ha attraversato diverse fasi musicali, passando dal thrash metal degli esordi al hard rock più melodico degli anni '90. Blackie Lawless è l'unico membro originale ancora presente nella formazione attuale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: "Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)", "I Wanna Be Somebody", "The Idol" e "Blind in Texas".
