From First To Last est un groupe américain de metalcore originaire de Valdosta, Géorgie et Tampa, Floride, mais actuellement basé à Los Angeles, Californie. Le groupe a fait ses débuts en 2003 avec l'EP *Aesthetic*, avec le chanteur Phillip Reardon. En 2004, ils ont sorti *Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count* et en 2006 *Heroine*, les deux avec Sonny Moore au chant. Après le départ de Moore en février 2007 pour se consacrer à son projet solo electro/ alternatif, le groupe a ajouté le bassiste Matt Manning en permanence et Matt Good est passé au rôle de chanteur et guitariste principal. En 2008, ils ont sorti leur album éponyme *From First To Last* sur Suretone Records. En 2009, ils sont passés à Rise Records et se sont séparés du guitariste/chanteur Travis Richter de longue date. Leur quatrième album studio, *Throne to the Wolves*, est sorti le 16 mars 2010.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
