I Backstreet Boys sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1993 a Orlando, Florida. Il loro manager, Lou Pearlman, si era ispirato al successo dei New Kids on the Block e decise di creare un gruppo simile. Il quintetto originale era composto da Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson e Brian Littrell. I Backstreet Boys hanno raggiunto il successo mondiale negli anni '90 e 2000 con album come *Backstreet's Back* (1997), *Millennium* (1999) e *Black and Blue* (2000). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
