I The Bouncing Souls sono un gruppo punk rock statunitense formatosi nel 1987 a New Brunswick, New Jersey. Sin dalle loro origini, hanno caratterizzato il proprio sound con una velocità e intensità tipiche del punk rock, diventando un modello per molti altri gruppi locali. Nelle prime fasi della carriera, hanno sperimentato un mix di punk, funk e metal senza rinunciare alla loro identità punk. I concerti dei Bouncing Souls sono sempre stati caratterizzati da un'energia contagiosa, anche se con elementi amatoriali che si possono apprezzare ascoltando le registrazioni degli anni '80. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano «True Believers», «Manthem for the Masses» e «The Ballad of Johnny B».
