Godsmack è una band hard rock americana formatasi a Lawrence, nel Massachusetts, negli anni '90. Il gruppo è stato fondato dal batterista e cantante Sully Erna, che ha riunito Tony Rombola (chitarra), Robbie Merrill (basso) e Joe D'Arco (tastiere). Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Godsmack ha raggiunto il successo nazionale con l'album di debutto *All Wound Up* (1998), che ha venduto milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Tra i brani più famosi del gruppo figurano «Awake», «I Stand Alone» e «Voodoo».
