Joy Maureen Denalane, nota semplicemente come Joy Denalane, è una cantautrice tedesca di fama internazionale. Nata a Berlino nel 1973, ha conquistato il pubblico con un sound unico che fonde elementi di soul, R and B e musica africana, arricchiti da testi in inglese e tedesco. La sua carriera musicale è iniziata negli anni '90, collaborando con artisti come Max Herre, con cui ha anche avuto una relazione sentimentale e due figli, Isaiah e Jamil.
