Owl City è un progetto musicale indie/synth pop statunitense creato da Adam Young nel 2007. Inizialmente attivo come artista indipendente, ha pubblicato due album prima di firmare con la Republic Records. La svolta arriva nel 2009 con l'album di debutto discografico *Ocean Eyes*, che raggiunge il successo internazionale grazie al singolo *Fireflies*.
