Big Sean, all'anagrafe Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, è un rapper statunitense nato a Santa Monica, California, nel 1988. Cresciuto a Detroit, Michigan, ha iniziato a scrivere rime fin da giovane, frequentando la Cass Technical High School e sviluppando una passione per il rap battle. Nel 2005, durante un'intervista radiofonica di Kanye West, Sean si presentò alla stazione con una demo tape, impressionando l'artista che lo firmò in seguito con la GOOD Music nel 2007.
