Jewel è una cantautrice e musicista americana, nata nel 1974 a Payson, in Arizona. Conosciuta per il suo stile folk-rock introspettivo e le sue melodie orecchiabili, Jewel ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni '90 con l'album di debutto *Pieces of You*, che ha venduto oltre 30 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Il suo successo è stato alimentato da singoli come "Who Will Save Your Soul", "You Were Meant for Me" e "Foolish Games". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
