Kevin Gates, né Kevin Gilyard, est un rappeur, chanteur et entrepreneur américain né à Baton Rouge, en Louisiane, en 1986. Après une jeunesse marquée par des difficultés économiques et des problèmes juridiques, Gates a commencé sa carrière musicale au début des années 2000, en publiant des mixtapes indépendantes qui ont attiré l'attention du public.
