when we hit the sky we were high over the rooves
a field of gnarled antennas coiling upwards
waves and waveforms joining in a nice hot blast
so different from the boat
the cold silver sky opened for us and we passed through
last i saw of jill she was heading into the coils of the antennae
laughing, so beautiful
saying she hadn't yet had her fill of the boys there and the electricity
saying she wanted to plug in again and fry a bit
i said ``watch the water love"
she kept laughing and shook her hair

so we did, and had a smoke too, and her lips parted
there in amongst the coiling snakes of an antenna she looked right at home
the waves came up and a blinding flash caught me dreaming of her
as she looked all crossed with wires and sparks watching the blast
everything went orange and all my thoughts dissolved inwards in the cloud

Sonic Youth était un groupe américain de rock alternatif/noise formé à New York en 1981. Le groupe, composé de Kim Gordon (basse, chant), Thurston Moore (guitare, chant), Lee Ranaldo (guitare, chant) et Steve Shelley (batterie), a révolutionné le paysage musical des années 1980 et 1990 avec un son expérimental qui mêlait des éléments de rock punk, noise, avant-garde et musique électronique. Sonic Youth est connu pour son utilisation innovante du feedback de guitare, la complexité rythmique et les performances théâtrales. Parmi leurs albums les plus importants figurent "Daydream Nation" (1988), considéré comme un chef-d'œuvre du genre rock alternatif, et "Goo" (1990), qui leur a valu le succès grand public. D'autres titres représentatifs incluent "Teen Age Riot", "Sugar Kane" et "Bull in the Heather". Le groupe s'est séparé en 2011 après plus de trois décennies d'activité, laissant un héritage durable dans la musique contemporaine.

C'était le 5 avril 1980 quand un groupe inconnu et sans nom a joué dans une église désacralisée de la ville universitaire d'Athens en Géorgie. À peine deux semaines plus tard, ils ont choisi un nom R.E.M. , et ilt ont sortiun single et en 1983 un album "Murmur".
Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.
Nous continuons donc à voir un balancement entre les festivals d'été et non, nous devons les annuler car nous ne pouvons pas garantir la sécurité.
Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
