Musiq Soulchild, pseudonimo di Taalib Hassan Johnson, è un cantautore e produttore discografico statunitense noto per il suo stile neo soul. Nato a Philadelphia nel 1977, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'inizio degli anni 2000 con l'album d'esordio "Aijuswanaseing", che ha riscosso un grande successo di pubblico e critica. Il suo sound è caratterizzato da melodie avvolgenti, testi introspettivi e una forte influenza del jazz e della musica R and B classica. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "Just Friends (Waitin' on You)", "Love" e "Halfcrazy". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
