French Montana, de son vrai nom Karim Kharbouch, est un rappeur marocain naturalisé américain. Son nom de scène provient de la fusion de ses origines franco-marocaines avec le personnage de Tony Montana du film Scarface. Il a débuté sa carrière musicale à New York dans les années 2000, collaborant avec des artistes comme Max B et Nicki Minaj. En 2013, il connaît un succès international majeur avec le single "Pop That", qui atteint la 6e place du Billboard Hot 100.
