Chromeo è un duo electrofunk originario di Montreal, Canada, composto da P-Thugg (Patrick Gemayel) ai tasti, sintetizzatori e talk box, e Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) alla chitarra e voce principale. I due amici d'infanzia si descrivono scherzosamente come «l'unica partnership araba/ebraica di successo dall'alba della cultura umana». Il loro secondo album, *Fancy Footwork*, è stato il loro grande successo mainstream. Chromeo ha contribuito a rilanciare l'electrofunk negli anni 2000, influenzando una nuova generazione di artisti. I loro brani sono caratterizzati da ritmi funky, melodie orecchiabili e testi ironici che spesso esplorano temi come la sessualità, il divertimento e la vita notturna. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
