Vince Staples, pseudonimo di Vincent Jamal Staples, è un rapper statunitense nato a Long Beach, California, nel 1993. Attivo dal 2010, Staples ha guadagnato fama per il suo stile rap crudo e realistico, spesso incentrato su temi sociali come la violenza urbana, la povertà e le disuguaglianze razziali. La sua musica è caratterizzata da un flusso di coscienza incisivo e testi poetici che riflettono la sua esperienza di vita nella comunità di Long Beach. Nel 2015 ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto "Summertime '06", accolto con grande successo dalla critica, seguito da altri lavori come "Big Fish Theory" (2017) e "FM!" (2019). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
