Sean Paul, all'anagrafe Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, è un cantante e rapper giamaicano nato a Kingston il 9 gennaio 1973. Considerato uno dei pionieri del genere dancehall internazionale, ha raggiunto fama mondiale negli anni 2000 grazie al suo stile musicale che fonde elementi di reggae, hip hop, pop e R and B. Tra i suoi successi più noti figurano "Get Busy", "Temperature" e "We Be Burnin'". Ha collaborato con artisti internazionali come Beyoncé, Dua Lipa e Sia, ottenendo numerosi premi tra cui un Grammy Award nel 2004 per il brano "Gimme the Light".
