Les Beatnuts sont un duo de hip hop américain originaire de New York, composé des rappeurs JuJu (dominico-américain) et Psycho Les (colombiano-américain). Actifs depuis la fin des années 1980, ils ont contribué à définir le son du boom bap new yorkais avec des paroles caractérisées par une forte composante narrative et un flow agressif. Considérés comme l'un des groupes les plus influents de la scène hip hop underground, les Beatnuts sont connus pour leurs compétences techniques et l'utilisation d'échantillons de jazz et de funk. Ils font partie du collectif Native Tongues, bien qu'ils aient toujours maintenu un rôle périphérique par rapport à d'autres artistes comme A Tribe Called Quest ou De La Soul. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "Watch Out Now", "Off the Top" et "The Beatnuts Are Back".
