Chicago, originariamente conosciuti come Chicago Transit Authority, sono una delle band rock americane più longeve e di successo. In termini di vendite di album e singoli, solo i Beach Boys hanno superato i numeri di Chicago. Sebbene siano criticati da alcuni, Chicago è una band rock in grado di guardare in molte direzioni diverse - jazz, pop, disco, classica - senza mai perdere di vista l'hook. Fornati nel 1967 a Chicago, Illinois, la formazione originale comprendeva Peter Cetera (basso, voce), Robert Lamm (tastiere, voce), James Pankow (trombone), Danny Seraphine (batteria) e Terry Kath (chitarra, voce). Il loro primo album, pubblicato nel 1969, raggiunse il successo immediato grazie a brani come "25 or 6 to 4" e "Beginnings". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
