Run-D.M.C. è stato un gruppo hip hop statunitense considerato uno dei pionieri del genere. Attivo dal 1981 al 1987, il trio formato da Joseph "Run" Simmons, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels e Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell ha rivoluzionato l'hip hop con la sua musica energica, influenzata dal rock e dal funk. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
