The Clash sono stati una delle band punk rock britanniche più influenti e longeve, attive dal 1976 al 1986. Fondati a Londra da Joe Strummer (voce), Mick Jones (chitarra), Paul Simonon (basso) e Nick "Topper" Headon (batteria), hanno rivoluzionato il genere con un sound energico, politicizzato e ricco di influenze musicali diverse, dal reggae al rockabilly. I loro album, come "London Calling" (1979) e "Sandinista!" (1980), sono considerati pietre miliari del punk e hanno ispirato generazioni di musicisti. I Clash hanno affrontato temi sociali e politici con coraggio e sincerità, diventando un simbolo di ribellione e cambiamento.
