Beanie Sigel, de son vrai nom Dwight Equan Grant, est un rappeur américain originaire de Philadelphie, né en 1973. Considéré comme l'un des piliers du mouvement hip-hop de sa ville, il a gagné en popularité dans les années 90 grâce à son style agressif et ses rimes complexes. Après avoir collaboré avec Jay-Z et d'autres artistes de Roc-A-Fella Records, Sigel a sorti son premier album, "The Truth", en 1998. L'album a été un succès critique et commercial, consolidant sa position comme l'un des rappeurs les plus prometteurs du moment. Tout au long de sa carrière, Beanie Sigel a collaboré avec des artistes renommés tels que Jay-Z, Freeway, State Property et Lil' Kim. Parmi ses titres les plus représentatifs figurent "Feel It in Your Heart", "The World Is Yours" (avec Jay-Z) et "Act Right". Malgré quelques problèmes juridiques qui ont ralenti sa carrière, Beanie Sigel reste un artiste influent dans le paysage du hip-hop américain.
