Mac Dre, de son vrai nom Andre Louis Hicks (1970-2004), était un rappeur américain considéré comme l'un des pionniers du mouvement hip hop de la baie. Né à San Francisco, Californie, il a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1990 avec un son caractérisé par des rimes rapides et des paroles qui reflétaient la réalité des rues d'Oakland.
