Dan Fogelberg (1951-2007) è stato un cantautore, musicista e compositore statunitense. Nato a Peoria, Illinois, Fogelberg ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70, guadagnandosi rapidamente una reputazione per le sue melodie orecchiabili e i testi introspettivi. Il suo album di debutto, "Home Free", pubblicato nel 1972, ha segnato l'inizio di una lunga e prolifica carriera. Tra i suoi successi più noti figurano "The Leader of the Band", "Longer Than Forever" e "Same Old Lang Syne".
