All Saints sono un gruppo musicale femminile britannico formatosi nel 1996. Composto da Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton e Natalie Appleton (sorelle), il gruppo ha raggiunto la popolarità internazionale grazie al loro sound R and B influenzato dal pop. Il loro album di debutto omonimo, pubblicato nel 1997, ha riscosso un enorme successo commerciale con quattro singoli top ten: "Never Ever", "Bootie Call", "I Know Where It's At" e "Lady Marmalade". Il secondo album, *Saints and Sinners* (2000), ha generato i loro due maggiori successi, "Pure Shores" e "Black Coffee". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
