I Kinks sono un gruppo rock britannico formatosi a Londra nel 1963 e attivo fino al 1996. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti della British Invasion, hanno lasciato un'impronta indelebile sulla musica rock con il loro sound caratteristico che mescolava melodie pop orecchiabili a testi introspettivi e spesso satirici. La formazione originale comprendeva Ray Davies (voce, chitarra), Dave Davies (chitarra), Mick Avory (batteria) e Pete Quaife (basso). Quest'ultimo fu sostituito da John Dalton nel 1966 e poi definitivamente nel 1969. I Kinks hanno pubblicato una vasta discografia di album di successo, tra cui "Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society" (1969), "Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround" (1970) e "Sleepwalker" (1973). I loro brani più celebri includono "You Really Got Me", "All Day and All of the Night", "Waterloo Sunset", "Lola" e "Days". I Kinks sono stati inseriti nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nel 1990.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
